It is officially time to get the house ready for the holidays! Today, we are taking down the fake tree and finally bringing in the real Christmas tree. The girls are always so curious when we bring nature inside, and they had to thoroughly sniff and inspect the new tree before we could get it set up. We are hoping for some fresh snow tomorrow to match our festive mood inside!
However, things got a little dramatic with Kira today. She decided that the fireplace (or maybe the oven?) was absolutely terrifying, so she ran off to hide in the office! We had to set up a special "safe space" for her with a couch and blankets so she wouldn't feel left out. It is funny how these big brave Huskies can turn into such chickens over little noises.
We wrapped up the day with some high-energy playtime using their favorite "dragonfly" toy on a stick. It is hilarious to see how differently each dog plays. Kira loves to chase and tug, Eleanor stalks the toy and pounces just like a cat, and Memphis does her adorable happy taps! We hope you enjoy joining us for this festive and funny day.
