Well, good, wonderful, beautiful morning! Today is the day—the Siberian Husky coat blowout has officially begun. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to live with three shedding Huskies like Memphis, Kira, and Eleanor, this video is for you. We headed outside into the snow to tackle the "floof" because the fur was literally flying everywhere, from the car to the beds!
Kira definitely needed the most work today, and even though she isn't the biggest fan of the blower, she looks like a brand-new dog now. Memphis was a little less thrilled about the grooming table, so we kept her session short and sweet, while Eleanor handled the vacuum groomer like a pro. By the end of it, our backyard looked like it had a fresh layer of fur-snow!
After the hard work was done, it was time for the "after groomy zoomies" and some well-deserved rewards. We treated the girls to some bananas and their favorite safety chews in our go-to bully stick holders. We also give a little update on Memphis's hawk wrap and her upcoming physical therapy appointment. Life is short, make memories (and a mess) with your dogs!
