My Caravan, My Sanctuary. Continuing the theme of exploring the relationships between people and their leisure vehicles, I turn the camera on myself.
Most people associate a caravan, camper van, or motorhome with nothing more than holidays and weekends away.
But for many of us, our caravan, camper van, or motorhome is MORE than just a leisure vehicle. As well as being a dog friendly holiday home it can be a home office, a spare bedroom, a country bolt hole, a seaside retreat, a mobile kitchen and bathroom, emergency accommodation, an escape vehicle, or, in my case, a sanctuary.
Life turned upside down a few weeks ago, and in this video I explain what's been going on, and how my caravan is, literally, saving my sanity. I did not get to spend Christmas or the New Year at home, as I will have to spend the next few weeks if not months down in the South East off England.
A massive, MASSIVE thank you to all the wonderful staff at King's College Hospital in London, and to ALL the NHS workers across the UK, from the porters to the cleaners to the delivery drivers to the laundry operators to the nursing staff to the doctors to the surgeons - THANK YOU.
Obviously I don't know when I'll be making videos again or how they might look. Right now I have to focus on what I'm dealing with, looking after myself, and looking after those around me.
