Join me Andrew Ditton as I explore Florence (Firenze) on a stunning springtime tour through Tuscany.
We start off at the Parcheggio Villa Constanza, a Park and Ride facility to the West of Florence that also doubles as an Area Sosta - or Motorhome Parking Area. We take a look around before boarding a tram for Florence.
In Florence itself we take a look around Florence Cathedral (the Duomo), the Palazzo Vecchio in the Piazza della Signoria, and then we head down to the River Arno and the Ponte Vecchio. After crossing the bridge lined with jeweller's shops we arrive at the Palazzio Pitti and the neighbouring Boboli Gardens. I take you on a long and meandering tour of the enormous Boboli Gardens and some of the art that features therein.
After plant-based gelato (which makes it a vegetable, right?) it's time to jump on the tram back to the motorhome.
