During a tour around the Italian Alps in my converted Ambulance, we climbed a steep mountain track in search of a wild camping spot, only to find on arrival that a brake pipe on the van was moments away from bursting and failing. A chilled weekend in the woods all of a sudden took on a very different vibe.
Heading back down the track was out of the question, I'd have to fix it here.
Digging into it I find that there was more than the brakes that needed attention.
