If I had to buy fabric for just one pattern from the new McCall's Late Summer release, this would be my choice.

It only uses about one yard of fabric, works well in affordable ponte knit, and doesn't require a long shopping list of notions.

Sometimes the smartest sewing project isn't the cheapest pattern—it's the one that costs the least to make. Agreed?
