As I’ve experimented with CGMs, I’ve learned how much physical activity and food are connected. That got me thinking. How much is the timing and intensity of exercise directly connected to food? Can I have my ice cream and eat it too? Let’s find out.
Now, I’m not suggesting you break your healthy habits in exchange for sweets. I can see it in the comments now: “Kevin wants us to eat ice cream!” If you’re able to avoid sugary, processed foods, keep up those great habits. But for most humans, there are some unhealthy foods we still crave.
It’s okay to cheat every now and again when it comes to food or to reward yourself with a treat on special occasions. For some people, never being able to eat pizza again would pull a lot of joy from their life. For me, that craving is ice cream. For this experiment, I wanted to determine just how much I could get away with when I paired my poorer eating habits and cravings with physical activity.

![Why I DIDNT... Psychiatry
Welcome to another episode of Why I Didn’t… the mostly useless series where I tell you why I did NOT pursue a specific specialty. In this episode, I cover psychiatry.🧠 Subscribe to the channel to participate in polls about which specialty I’ll cover next.
Psychiatry may not be for everyone, but for the right person, it can be a deeply fulfilling and impactful career. It’s an excellent choice for those with a passion for mental health, comfort with ambiguity, and an empathetic approach to patient care. However, potential psychiatrists should consider the emotional toll of psychiatry, the lack of procedures, and the slower pace of the field.

![$4M Net Worth 💸 Would You Eat Soylent & Live in Your Car?
A millionaire who lives out of his car and chooses to eat Soylent every day?!?😲 Why does Tyler @LitNomad choose to be homeless with a 4 million net worth? Here’s what I agree with and where I think his plan goes off course.
He claims to unlock an experience a normal rich person can’t unlock through “Bursty Spending”. 💥💸 Does it actually work? And do you need to take his extreme approach to hedonic adaptation to experience these benefits yourself?
