I always saw myself living a life abroad, even as a child growing up in Co-op City in the Bronx...however, that dream always included New Zealand. But as many of you know, life has a way of surprising us.
Now, after 55+ episodes as host of the Blaxit Global podcast, I too joined the ranks and became a Black expat, having recently embarked on a new adventure as a Black woman who left the US and moved to Portugal. 🌟🌍
Leaving behind my family and familiar surroundings while stepping into the unknown is both thrilling and nerve-wracking. But let me tell you, Portugal has welcomed me with open arms, and I couldn't be more grateful for this beautiful country that I now call home.
