My eating has always been pretty healthy for most of my life. This isn’t because I don’t enjoy junk foods or things that are not good for me because I do. I have a tremendous sweet tooth and a huge appetite.

But I learned the concept of eating when I was just 16 years old, which I’ve used for my entire life to eat more healthily than not. And that is to make eating healthy, eating simpler and easier (oftentimes even cheaper) than eating unhealthy.

The way that I’ve done this is through preparing my meals ahead of time by cooking all of my food in bulk either once or twice a week.

I’ve done where I put them in a few large containers and just scooped the amount that I wanted for every meal. I’ve also done it where I put them in small separate meal size containers and I just eat one container per meal.

Make sure to cook the foods that you actually enjoy eating. This is the only way that you’ll get yourself to actually eat it. If you find that all the foods you enjoy are very unhealthy for you, then prepare healthy alternatives of the same food. Your diet doesn’t need to be perfect . It just needs to be healthier than what it currently is now.

Our energy and the way we feel in our body is he by what we put into the body and this practical approach will make healthy eating sustainable to do a lifetime.
