My badlands 12000 gin pole winch truck invention was a failure. I failed, failure, failure, failure. lol
SO I finally made time to test the gin pole with the Harbor Frieght badlands 12000 winch and the design of my gin pole was a failure. The badlands 12000 winch had a lot of power that I twisted stuff and broke the gin pole. The gin pole would not go up due to placement of the pole and pulley. THis was a quick invention or modification I came up with to repurpose some 2" reciever tubes on my flat bed truck. Well hopefully you can get an idea on how to build your gin pole winch truck . The review I did on the badlands 12000 shows it has some serious power.
