In this video I share with you how I prepare for a landscape photography shoot by visiting and exploring a location beforehand. When it comes to shooting at sunrise or sunset time is of the essence, and for me preparation is key to be able to remain calm and composed when the time comes.
There are many keys to success when it comes to photography, and quite often an awful lot of luck! But there are factors which we can control to a certain extent and the more control we have the more successful we can be with capturing the images that we came for.
People often comment that I have a very calm and relaxed approach to photography, and part of the reason for that is that I take my time to plan my shoots and visit a location before I intend shooting whenever possible.
