WELCOME TO MY 3D PRINTING DUNGEON ----- It's not much, but it's mine! I've got two lovely robots (Bo and Ahsoka) that occasionally work with me to produce some cool cosplay armor and helmets! My 3D Printing Setup has taken a few forms over the years (starting from one printer on an old end table!) to what you see here.
I give you a quick 'lay of the land' of our basement before showing you everything on my 3D printing rack from where to buy 3D printer filament and how I store/feed it into my printers to random projects searching for a home. Hopefully my setup gave you some inspiration for your own or at the very least, showed you just how many 3D prints I still have to finish! It's a never-ending cycle of raw prints to finish.
3D printing is NOT required to cosplay, but I've had a lot of fun over the years integrating it into my costumes and learning more about modeling, slicers and printer maintenance. It can become a hobby unto itself but I primarily use my 3D printers as a tool first, meaning I don't dabble in a tooooon of modding or hacking my machines.
