Can a 2019 Mac Pro with an AMD GPU run local AI well?
In this video, I test a new local LLM app on my Mac Pro 2019 with AMD Radeon graphics and compare the experience against newer systems like the M4 Pro Mac mini. I look at first-response time, generation speed, and whether Intel Macs with AMD GPUs can still be useful for running local AI models like Qwen3 14B.
