In this video I’m testing Lossless Scaling (Steam app) on my 2019 Mac Pro with a dual‑GPU setup to get smoother gameplay in DOOM: The Dark Ages.
The key trick: I cap the game at 60 FPS, then use Lossless Scaling Frame Generation (2x) to output 120 FPS on my 4K 120Hz monitor — while offloading the frame gen work to my second GPU.
My setup
• Main GPU (game rendering): RX 7900 XTX
• Second GPU (display + Lossless Scaling work): RX 6900 XT
• In‑game: FSR Quality @ 4K
• Not using in‑game frame gen or path tracing (unstable/crash‑prone on my AMD setup)
