My 2015 illustration of "Ellie" – a proposed Galaxy's Edge creature that people could ride.
My main focus was to plan interactive behaviors - pantomime, facial expressions, warm breath, etc., that would convince guests Ellie was a thinking, feeling beast.
Had we created Ellie, my hope was to let early morning guests groom her, weaving wind-chimes and bells of all sorts into her fur, to jangle as she walked. That way, the guests would participate in creating her musicality for that day.
And Ellie would have loved all the attention!
