i apologize for being lazy and incompetent, k now lets get to it
1 - this song rly describes how ive been feeling lately bc of depression and realizing how shitty this world is. everyone acts fake to get what they want and most of the time the person who can make it all okay, the one you love the most, is oceans away, literally or metaphorically. this songs just sorta like therapy for me and when i listen to it i feel like it sums up my emotions rn pretty well so yeah
2 - i feel like this song describes me bc im always feeling incomplete so i go looking for things, like love or drugs, things that i think will make me feel better. but i never find those things so im just constantly on the look out, feeling like im never good enough. this songs basically about a person who wants to be loved and important, and i relate so yep.
3 - ive been listening to a lot of older fall out boy lately, mostly their first three albums, and the songs are super catchy. this is one of my favorites. some of the other ones i really love are the carpal tunnel of love and hum hallelujah. older fob is just really catchy and good and more ppl should edit with it instead of just phoenix, light em up and centuries
4 - this song makes me happy af, actually most of blink's songs do. that band has come to mean everything to me lately and i love all their songs. this one's just a classic, and every time it comes on especially in the car i get super happy and excited and wanna dance to it. this songs about not giving a shit about "acting your age" and just having fun being yourself. its helped me let go of my anxiety a lot and just go out and have fun and that means a lot to me, i love this band.
5 - i dont have a personal sad backstory with this song so maybe it wasnt the best to choose for my sad song, but it does make me really sad, ive cried a few times listening to it. nine inch nails are rly good at putting a lot of emotion into their songs. this songs about someone who hurts so much that pain becomes the only thing in life that they can rely on, because everyone else leaves them alone. god this song gets me. listen to it, seriously
6 - besides the fact that it makes me feel calm, i put this song in for personal reasons, bc it reminds me of someone i think fondly of. its also just a really beautiful, comforting song. sometimes i listen to it at 5 AM and it just gently lulls me to sleep, making me feel really calm and happy. i didnt start listening to pink floyd until recently, but i really like them now (thanks to a certain person irl)
7 - this song is super fuckin badass, it just makes me feel pumped and ready to fight. papa roach are awesome and always make good angry songs. this song gets me pumped and id be pretty ready to rip someone to shreds to it if i was mad enough xD the guitar and everything and the singer's voice is just right, it's a super good and "angry" song ya know. perfect for a fight
