This review is a little different, but anyone that has at least an interest in music gear and things like pedals and effects should find it interesting.
I show two separate projects in ordinary layman's terms (so even I can understand it!) and hopefully you might want to look further. PCBway is a company based in the Far East that makes PCBs for projects - but also much more. I first came across them when I needed some specialized PCBs for a project in my day job. They were brilliant, cost effective and extremely helpful.
But here we show boards to two projects and the quality, and where you can get more information from - its all-useful stuff.
Believe it or not you can create an effects pedal development board for as little as just $100 or so and get down to creating your own effects! Literally!
And by connecting to github.com where there are programs to help you get going what could be better for someone to get a fantastic introduction to this pastime... with the benefit of effects or other projects at the end of the journey? And PCBway.com will be there to help you as they can.
Please be aware that PCBway did send me the two boards for free so I could show you these projects - but make no mistake this review is ENTIRELY my own opinion, and to some extent even my opinion from my day job in which PCBway were great.
