The brilliant German-Austrian composer Brigitta Muntendorf was featured in a D.C. premiere of her work Trilogy for Two Pianos, Tape, and Live Electronics. Winner of the German Record Critics' Award in 2023 for contemporary classical music, Trilogy was performed by pianists Ning Yu and Cory Smythe, along with computer musicians and sound engineers Levy Lorenzo and Jeff Svatek. Violinist Christopher Otto with pianist Ning Yu performed the music of Muhal Richard Abrams to open the concert.
