A mum has shared her 'parenting fail' as a firework warning ahead of NYE - after theirs tipped over and shot explosives at her frightened family.

Tammy Westwood let her 'excited' 21-year-old son Adam Westwood buy a box of fireworks but they didn't bury it in the ground as the shop owner advised.

The 53-year-old's footage shows the box firing five colourful shots in the air before dangerously falling over to face them and Adam's girlfriend Charlie Bailey, 18.
