So, Im very proud of these parts. I tried new things, and I think it turned out well. The style here is heavily inspired by RedBat because I love her style and have always wanted to try it, and I just discovered the amazing, true power of the mask track setting so I went all in! It was a lot of fun, and a shit ton of layers!

This mep had a really awesome theme where depending on the part we had, we either took a hero and turned them into a villain, or a villain into a hero. I did hero to villain and skirted VERY close to canon, except here the horrible writing where Jason is a psychopathic, cold-blooded, murderous anti-Batman is not terrible characterisation and actually the path he takes.

Happy New Years Eve/Happy New Year! Cant believe the year and the decade is over... I dont know about anyone else, but 2019 zoomed by for me. Heres a round up of the MEP parts that came out in November and December. Overall, I think my editing has improved a fair bit over the year, particularly where live action is concerned, and I think Im beginning to get my still image mojo back, but my lack of inspiration shows in some of these. Anyways, not really sure what lies in store in 2020, but editing and the friends Ive made through it continued to be a highlight in 2019, and I hope that stays the same, and that everyone has a good year!

The theme for this WORM was a song that makes you feel nostalgic, and I have a memory of dancing to this song at a school disco when I was, like, four so ever since this song just reminds me of childlike fun when you have no worries. This was supposed to be with Young Avengers because I normally edit them for New Year, but I struggled for inspiration so I switched to the Bat Fam, which was fun because I havent edited them in ages. I keep meaning to make a proper edit, but I just havent had the inspiration to get round to it. Maybe in 2020!

I never get tired of editing Bruce and Jason, and I thought Alexander and Eliza Hamilton fit this song really well too as Burn is one of my favourite songs on the soundtrack (and First Burn). Fun fact, I wrote most of my dissertation to Hamilton (and some other musicals, but that one of the most) because for some reason it got me focused and pumped to write about kings and knights in medieval English literature. And it worked really well!

Ughhh, this part gave me such a headache. Jack was the fourth character that I tried using. It was supposed to be with Billy, but my Young Avengers block continues. Im still not 100% happy with this, there are bits that I like, but overall I just wish it were better because the whole MEP is SO good! Go watch it!

I did not know what to do with this song, but I thought the lyrics really fit Jeremy and the Squip, especially because I played Pitiful Children a lot during that dissertation writing, and in the end, I managed to shape it into an alright part.

I cant quite believe we pulled off an almost 6 minute MEP to these songs. The MEP is a crazy trip, I recommend it! I also highly recommend watching Dark (and obviously HDM, I actually signed up for the part before the series even started and crossed my fingers for the best, and then got swept away in excitement. XD). Darks a German language TV show on Netflix, and it is REALLY good, although very, very confusing. Its hard to describe the show without giving away spoilers, but if you like slow, dark sci-fi youll probably enjoy it! Also, ending my editing year how it is almost certainly going to start in 2020, with His Dark Materials! XD")

Ooo boy, that was a long month. Not a whole lot of editing happened because I was busy with my dissertation, most of these are from the end of August/beginning of September, but now that Im done and between things I got a burst of inspiration and am really enjoying editing! I really wanna get some personal projects up, but Im having a much easier time starting things than I am finishing...

Im really happy with how these parts, and the whole MEP, turned out! I got inspired to do a comic book-esque aesthetic, largely from the Elevate MEP, which I left a link to above because it looks AMAZING, but I dont have the Fx skills to pull it off properly, but Im happy with what I managed to do!

I was very excited when I got you and you had this anime listed because Ive been meaning to watch it for ages, so I planned to binge the whole thing before editing, but then after finishing editing I decided to just go ahead and start, and then just didnt make any further headway with the anime.
