I have been working on my Water Quest 10.2 which is actually a Bass Tender 10.2. After making several modifications and only having a trolling motor to rely on to get me from point A to point B, I decided to shop around for a small boat motor. The Bass Tender is rated for a 7.5 HP motor and all the boat motors of that size seem to be very pricey. After watching several reviews on Mud Motors, I decided that was the way I wanted to go, still a little pricey but a cool option for this boat. I finally decided on the Mud-skipper Twister Lite, made lighter for a smaller boat and more in my price range. All I needed was a motor to attach it to and Harbor Freight had the perfect motor. First, I bought the Harbor Freight Predator 212 which is rated at 6.5 HP, then I ordered the Mud-skipper Twister Lite. After putting it all together, this thing is ready to go and I don't have to rely on my trolling motor to get me to and from my favorite fishing hole.
