Thought I’d try Vee Hollow free park in Townsend, TN during a recent trip to Gatlinburg. I took my eMTB to help with what I knew would be some tough climbs. Wow man, that helped a lot, but I still got my butt kicked by my lack of recent exposure to really steep climbs and tight switchbacks, both up and down. Add to that it was super hot 🥵. Anyway, it’s a tremendous park, but I only had a couple of hours to spend and that was not *nearly* enough time to get a couple of loops in (didn’t help that my crappy sense of direction meant that I wasted some time!).
Highly recommended, and I will be back! Maybe I’ll wait until fall 😉.
