Behind the scenes of #eMMC access method on Technisat/Preh #MIB2 standard unit to convert region, bypass Component Protection, activate FEC/SWaP codes. Unit was successfully converted from US firmware to EU firmware with European languages + firmware was updated to latest facelift version (P0480T) + MIB STD2 #Toolbox was installed + Component Protection lock was bypassed + FEC/SWaP codes Exception List was generated to enable all optional features + SWDL history was cleaned from old entries + old display MUTE button was remapped as AppConnect shortcut.
This method also applies to other Technisat units that can't be accessed with SD card nor USB OTG methods: VW Composition Media, VW Discover Media, Skoda Bolero, Skoda Amundsen, Seat Navigation 6P0. Both PQ and ZR versions use the same approach with differences in pads placements on the main unit board.
