mr boogie came up on my spotify daylist and because i’ve been listening to alejandro by lady gaga so much lately i immediately noticed a similarity and i tweeted about it and a lot of people seemed to agree with me so i felt obligated to make this mashup lol, anyways im really happy with how it turned out and i hope you like it as well

-i enjoy adding lyrics to my mashups and imagine the two artists singing about the same situation so here’s what i thought about while making this!-
Story 1: Telephone is a girl irritated with her (presumably boyfriend) for pestering her about being at the club, meanwhile Mr Boogie shows the perspective of her inner thoughts as well as experience at the club where she finds herself infatuated with the DJ or a hot guy partying. Throughout the song she starts convincing herself to breakup with her boyfriend and instead persue the DJ / guy at the club
Story 2: Same as story 1 except she falls in love with music or the club (represented as “Mr Boogie” manifesting as how the dancefloor makes her feel) and realizes it’s more important to her than the relationship she has with the boyfriend who won’t stop bothering her
