Mr. Bug Goes to Town (78 min)
Synopsis: After a period spent away, Hoppity the grasshopper returns home to his insect friends, including Old Mr. Bumble and his beautiful daughter Honey Bee (Hoppity’s sweetheart). The happy tranquility of the Lowlands is shattered when the bug populace learns that a colossal skyscraper is to be built over their tiny town. Now it’s up to heroic Hoppity to halt the tower’s construction, or find everyone a new place to live. To compound their problems, devious insect "property magnate" C. Bagley Beetle has romantic designs on Honey Bee himself, and, with the help of his henchmen Swat the Fly and Smack the Mosquito, hatches plans to make Honey marry him or eliminate Hoppity as a romantic rival.

• This film was Fleischer Studios' second feature-length animated film. As a result of the box-office failure of this film, Paramount fired Max Fleischer and Dave Fleischer and took over their studio, renaming it Famous Studios.
• The film would be re-released under the title Hoppity Goes to Town.
• Original score by Leigh Harline; original songs by Frank Loesser, Hoagy Carmichael and Sammy Timberg.
