The Looney, Looney, Looney Bugs Bunny Movie (79 min)
Synopsis: This animated comedy combines both full-length cartoons and dazzling cartoon highlights in an overall three-act framework or never-before-seen animation that lends continuity to the lunatic proceedings. Act 1 begins with the 1958 Academy Award winner, Knighty Knight Bugs, then goes on to spin the yarn of how Yosemite Sam tries to talk his way out of an underworld assignment brought on by one too many mishaps. In Act 2, the looniness continues as Daffy and Tweety tangle with a pair of feather-brained bird-napping gangsters. Finally, Act 3 invites you to Hollywood for the annual “Oswald” awards, a zany parody of all-star award ceremonies – and a chance for Bugs and Daffy to renew their long-running rivalry for top spot in the limelight.
