Adding jumping and gravity to the players custom CharacterBody2D script. We also set up physics collisions on the tileset to keep the player and other objects grounded and not falling through the floor.

This video guides through setting up assets and plugins for the project. We import free versions of Pixel Crawler (characters, weapons, enemies), Crimson Fantasy GUI, Raven Fantasy icons (full sprite sheets), M5X7 font, Leo Pazs RPG Essentials SFX, and Tallbeards chiptune music into art and audio folders. We install two plugins: Collapse Folders for file system navigation and Limbo AI (4.4) for state machines, verifying their functionality in Godot 4.4.
