The $17 Ulanzi foldable foldable phone holder

tl:dw: The Ulanzi has a more solid grip, and packs smaller. The Woohot has a lot more mounting points for multiple accessories. but the phone grip is not as tight.
Both feature an "arca-swiss" mount on the bottom removing the need for a tripod plate if you have compatible ballheads. Both feature a "cold shoe" for at least one accessory- or more if you use an adapter to hold more accessories.
I expected the Woohot to do a better job, but the small-ish grip on the phone, plus the inability to tighten it onto the phone, made for a less secure grip. Not a critical factor unless you mounts deal with vibration or possible impact.
The Ulanzi folds up when not in use, so you can pack more fo them in a smaller kit, and it has a tighten knob on top to make sure it has a firm grip on the camera. The knob can impede the use of the cold shoe depending on the design of the accessory.
But overall I liked the Ulanzi better and foresee getting more of them for my kit.
