Testing how the two video formats compare on the Panasonic GH4-
Specifically with regard to how muddy and blocked up the dark areas are. Using a massive 1.0 to 2.0 gamma lift in Premiere, I see how well DCI 4K at 100 Mbps compares to 1080p24 at 200 Mbps.

My conclusion: 4K wins. Less blocky. But still nowhere near as clean in the darks as other cameras.
