This is my vintage review/retro review of the 2006 Motorola W315. The W315 is a super budget phone from Motorola that was released in 2006. Its got a very sturdy build, no camera, external display, really good UI customization, a smart button and a quick voice memo's button and a really long battery life. This phone is no way a rare phone or a highly sought after collectors item as it was very popular back then and sold very well. It can be found online for very cheap and is a very interesting phone.
The display on the phone is somewhat of a drawback as many reviews said its washed out and too small. Not sure about the washed out part but it indeed is unusually small when compared to the rest of the phones body.
It runs a very proprietary operating system and has an unusual app store or market place that I have never heard of before.
I got this for about $8.8 in a $80 lot of 9 phones which also included 2 unreleased prototype Motorola phones the Motorola RIZR Z12 and a thing that I am unsure is even a phone to begin with. And many other prototype devices however, this one is not a prototype.
Nevertheless, the W315 is indeed a vintage Motorola or retro Motorola that needs to be addressed in a retro style review and I will be doing a video on Using Motorola W315 in 2022 or Motorola W315 2022, Flip Phone In 2022 etc..so stay tuned by subscribing!
These are considered rare phones or collectible phones and I am keeping them in my phone collection since they are considered as a vintage phones or retro phones.
My collection also includes Nokia Prototypes, Blackberry Prototypes, Motorola Prototypes, Sony Ericsson prototypes, Sony Prototypes, HTC Prototypes, Rare Nokia and other rare developer devices! These phones are no Android 11 or Android 12 powerhouses and It also ain't no iPhone 13 Pro Max, Google Pixel 6, Lumia 950Xl, Lumia 1520, Lumia 1020, Google Pixel 6 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, Motorola Edge S or OnePlus 8T but are definitely interesting phones on their own!
