In this video, we show two easy ways to motorize the CAJO Terra 116 PDL and CAJO Highlander 100 PDL using the Bixpy K-1 Motor.
Both kayaks share the same pedal drive opening and rear mounting options, making them compatible with the same Bixpy adapter lineup. Whether you prefer a pedal drive conversion or a rear-mounted motor, there's a setup that fits your style.
1. Mirage Pedal Drive Adapter
Simply remove the pedal drive, drop in the Bixpy Mirage Pedal Drive Adapter with the K-1 Motor, lock it in place, and you're ready to hit the water. No drilling or permanent modifications required.
2. Power Pole Adapter
Both CAJO kayaks include three rear mounting locations, giving you flexibility in how you install the motor.
Terra 116 PDL
The Power Pole Adapter is mounted on the right side, allowing you to keep the factory rudder installed in the center. This setup lets you continue steering with the original hand-controlled rudder while enjoying quiet electric power.
Highlander 100 PDL
The rudder is removed, and the Power Pole Adapter is installed in the center mounting position. The motor is paired with the Bixpy Pole Steering System, allowing you to steer directly with the motor for a simple, responsive setup.
