We’re an adventurous bunch here at Dogfish Head and we have a hunch that if you’re reading this, you are too! As longtime supporters of The Nature Conservancy (TNC) and the amazing work they do, we’ve partnered with them in a whole new way with an off-centered rally cry … Mother Nature, Let’s Do This!
At Dogfish Head, we rely on the goodness of Mother Nature to provide us with the beautiful and bountiful culinary ingredients used in our off-centered beverages and dishes. And with a restless desire to explore at the heart of everything we do, Dogfish Head founders Sam & Mariah Calagione were eager to learn more about the environmental issues facing us globally and on a localized level. So, they packed up and hit the road for a month-long journey in our backyard that is the eastern seaboard. From oyster reefs to the very first TNC preserve, we’ve captured it all.
In a four-part docuseries, watch as Dogfish Head founders Sam & Mariah stop at 13 distinct sites to tackle issues like oyster aquaculture and restoration, land and water conservation, and so much more. In this episode, Sam & Mariah get their feet wet (literally!) with visits to Blowing Rocks Preserve in Florida, Goldbug Island Living Shoreline in South Carolina and the Black River Preserve in North Carolina.
