In chapters 4, 5, and 7, you can return to the forest and, rarely, encounter an enemy called the Black Beanling. Provided you defeat it before it runs away, you will earn over 16000 experience, the highest of any enemy in the game. This is one of the best places in the game to grind, especially if you have enemy strengthening sprays, which DOUBLE the experience output.
