Most golfers spend hours practicing, and very little of it actually makes them better.
In this lesson, Mike explains how to practice in a way that actually transfers to the golf course.
You’ll learn how to:
• Build a simple practice station
• Practice with immediate feedback instead of guessing
• Set up with correct alignment before the shot
Good practice isn’t about hitting more balls, it’s about creating cause and effect. When practice has structure and feedback, improvement shows up naturally on the course.
If you’ve ever left the range feeling like you “worked hard” but didn’t get better, this lesson will change how you think about practice.

Inside the M-System, Mike Malaska shows player Jimmy Pearcy how effortless power is created by mastering leverage. Instead of forcing the wrists or muscling the swing, this lesson teaches how to let the weight and momentum of the club do the work.
Through simple grip adjustments and drills, Mike demonstrates how the wrists naturally hinge, unhinge, and re-hinge, creating speed with almost no effort. By feeling the weight of the club in the circle of the swing, tension disappears, the face squares itself, and the ball starts flying straighter and farther.
This is the foundation of the lever system that separates struggling golfers from consistent ball strikers.
✅ What You’ll Learn in This Video:
Why leverage is the secret to effortless power
How to feel club weight, momentum, and circle in your swing
The role of wrist hinge, unhinge, and re-hinge
How grip and joint alignment let the clubface square naturally
Why less tension = more speed and consistency
Key Takeaways:
Let the weight of the club make your wrists work — don’t force it
Proper grip allows the clubface to square on its own
Effort level drops, while clubhead speed rises
Think tennis or pickleball: swing freely, let momentum snap the racket
