Testing the limits of the Fenix Airbus A319 in the rugged mountains of Pakistan! Today we are flying into the brand-new Chitral Airport (OPCH) scenery released by Tailwind Studios for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
Chitral is nestled in the shadow of the Hindu Kush range and is widely considered one of the most challenging approaches in the world. With its narrow valley and high-altitude terrain, see how the high-fidelity Fenix A319 handles the "hot and high" performance required for this remote lifeline.

Today we begin the prep for a flight from Palma de Mallorca back to base at Manchester, UK flying an Osprey Airways scheduled service back home in the TFDi Design MD-11 in MSFS 2024.
The journey begins with us cold and dark. Well go through all of the steps (including a pop-up tip for a re-occuring bug in the jet) to help you get from A to B smoothly.

The bug mentioned above? When turning the systems on, selecting Battery and External Power, sometimes the jet breaks and doesnt recognise the connection of external power or APU no matter what you do. If you get the pop-up highlighted in THIS video, itll be quite early into your prep - the solution, restart your flight to clear it and itll sort itself out. As I record this, there is zero documentation for this issue from TFDi but something a few people are experiencing.
