Today we begin the prep for a flight from Palma de Mallorca back to base at Manchester, UK flying an Osprey Airways scheduled service back home in the TFDi Design MD-11 in MSFS 2024.

The journey begins with us cold and dark. We'll go through all of the steps (including a pop-up tip for a re-occuring bug in the jet) to help you get from A to B smoothly.

The bug mentioned above? When turning the systems on, selecting Battery and External Power, sometimes the jet breaks and doesn't recognise the connection of external power or APU no matter what you do. If you get the pop-up highlighted in THIS video, it'll be quite early into your prep - the solution, restart your flight to clear it and it'll sort itself out. As I record this, there is zero documentation for this issue from TFDi but something a few people are experiencing.
