Welcome to Mosaic vol. 2. An exciting set of graded volumes of original piano music written by 13 award winning composers from around the world, designed to provide an exciting and diverse collection of music for the developing pianist from pre-grade 1 to grade 8. Volume 2 contains works for grades 1-3 roughly.
The different composers have brought a unique colourful style to each of their pieces; together they form a picture of some of the most original and vibrant educational pieces available, drawn from their wide experience as teachers.
Mosaic will comprise five substantial volumes of music, each covering approximately two grades, which will provide plenty of choice and scope as teaching material for students as they progress. Conceived as a project that brings together different nationalities, musical backgrounds and compositional styles, these original, individual pieces form a unique whole – a musical mosaic.

The first part, out of four, where the two violin monophonic lines flow seemesly within each other. After the interplay between the two is completed, the 2nd violin sets out to silence, while the 1st takes a tiny bit longer to calm down.")

The second movement of the four movement work Anger and Depression, composed by Greek composer Nikolas Sideris. For violin duet.
This movement features some frantic work, and anti-rhythmic passages throughout as well as glissandi and goes even further to feature some calm, melodic and harmonious passages.
