STONE | Bonnie Legion & Morktra (Work in Progress)
Sometimes songs arrive unexpectedly.
Stone was born from one of Morktra's beautiful improvised guitar sessions. Inspired by the atmosphere and emotion of his playing, I found myself writing and singing these words over the top, allowing the music to guide the moment.
This short video is only a snippet of a work in progress. I ran into some technical issues while recording, so the song remains unfinished for now, but I hope to return soon and fully flesh out Stone into a complete piece.
Morktra is a musician, songwriter, and off-grid homesteader whose work reflects the raw authenticity of nature, sustainability, and self-expression. His spontaneous guitar pieces create a space where songs seem to emerge naturally, and I am grateful for the inspiration.
