There were absolute squadrons of these birds flying out of the Lakes down the Kent and into Morecambe Bay. It was a murky day, but it made for a very atmospheric video. Sunderland Point, at the end of the Lune and at the other end of the Bay was just as murky, but similarly atmospheric.

Music is Peer Gynt Morning Mood, from Musopen played by the Czech National Orchestra. It seems to fit the scene here.
