The Sonic Adventure 2 remake/fangame in Unreal Engine 5 is back. As for my thoughts on it, they're pretty much the same since the 1st demo so I'll refrain from saying them again here, but instead list my thoughts on the new stages, as well the new things I like and/or dislike here in the new demo. As for the new stages, Radical Highway, White Jungle and Green Forest all are pretty faithfully recreated here as far as level design goes and they look pretty great in Unreal Engine 5, with less of an uncanny valley look to them this time around (this is a pet peeve of mine when it comes to Unreal Engine "remakes" of old games, it's pretty much a YouTube grift/nostalgia bait at this point since those get the views, but Sonic Adventure 2 Redux seems to avoid this). I also appreciate the cinematic flair added in some of these stages, especially Green Forest and even older stages had some added polish, both in gameplay and presentation.

Sadly, there are still some hiccups here and there:
- homing attack is still a total crapshoot and inconsistent as heck, especially from up close, or trying to decide between 2 targets close together in an angle
- swing poles are bugged, sometimes they work and sometimes they do not, especially if chaining 2 together in a row
- scripted setpieces still have a tendency to break
- movement feels too sensitive on controller due to a lack of deadzone especially on the left analog stick on controller and the "Controller options" in this new demo don't display a thing

Other than these niggles, I think this new demo for Sonic Adventure 2 Redux is mostly an improvement across the board and I hope the developer manages to finish this Sonic fangame.
