The pine tree, usually standing alone on a hill, is a very common symbol in Korean arts. It defines endurance of any hardships, like hard winds, snow, etc. standing there green all year round whatever happens.
White jade is a precious stone since ancient times. When crushed into powder it is used as a traditional medicine and in skincare beauty products.
