MOONS is on the move... again.
Last week, MOONS moved to the New Integration Hall at ESO’s Paranal Observatory. Compared to its epic 7,000-mile journey from Scotland to Chile this was only a few hundred metres, but it included a delicate rotation of the 10-tonne spectrograph and precise manoeuvring.
The entire team at UK ATC would like to thank our colleagues at ESO for their expertise and support with this complex operation.
