THE ZOMBIES ARE HERE!!!!!!!
HELLO EVERYONE! 😈 Its time to show you all what I have been working on 👀
Today I bring you my remix of Moongrains!!! I never really see anyone remix this track so I thought it would be fun to give it some MUCH NEEDED attention. Because wow, this song slaps.
When I listened to the original, getting ready to start my remix, I noticed the lack of a higher note melody, which a lot of PVZ tracks have. So I was surprised to see the main melody is mostly composed of bass notes and similar elements. So, what I did was keep the melody somewhat lower, but take that melody and pitch it up sometimes to leave space for the bass and rest of the instruments. It was really fun experimenting with how I was gonna remix this song. Initially, the song was a lot more chill, it didn’t have all these grand sections and it was more Lofi. I just kept adding more and more, and deleting more and more, until I was happy with the dynamics. I really enjoyed adding my own little flares and sections to this song. I feel it brings out and “accentuates” the best parts of the composition 😎👍 I hope you guys enjoy the funky tunes 🎶
As for the art…. Wow. Took me 18 hours in total to draw this thumbnail. Surprisingly not the longest I’ve spent on a piece but it’s DEFINITELY not my least. I spent so much time drawing all of the characters in this piece. There’s several different plants and zombies, if you count the hands hahaha. Which any artist knows how hard hands are to draw 💀 Originally for the hunt, I was gonna do zombie hands. But man I am NOT DRAWING 5-8 DIFFERENT ZOMBIE HANDS COMING OUT OF THE GROUND!! 😭 So I settled with something simpler… suns! Another thing, I’m so glad I was able to draw the Michael Jackson Thriller zombie because Michael is a huge inspiration for me and many others of course. But I’ve been really into his music and who he is recently. He’s got some great stuff and I definitely took some inspiration from “Thriller” for this remix.🫡
