About dang time that I remaster this song again 😅 I believe it’s been about 5 years since my first Dimble Woods remaster, and yeah….. it’s SEVERELY outdated. I’ve gotten a few comments in the past couple months saying that I should remaster Dimble Woods again and I kept it in the back of my mind for a while. Then recently, I was sifting through some old songs and remembered that I had started a remaster that i completely forgot about 😳 So I opened it up, and kept on working!
My main focus with this remaster was to stay very faithful to the original, I didn’t wanna go too far off track because every time I did, it gave the song a different vibe…. Too far removed from what the OG was going for, and became way too busy-sounding. So I simplified my thinking, added just a few subtle changes, some percussion, some more accent notes, small stuff that I feel keeps the core of what this theme went for all those years ago on the DS 😎 That’s really all I’ve got to say about this one! I hope you guys enjoy and stay tuned for more remixes and remasters coming soon 😈
