I converted my "TRAVELER" Ultra Light guitar into a lap steel. It's a 25" scale and weighs only 3 lbs. I'm using flat-wound strings. You can read more details and see close-up guitar pics at my SteelC6th.com website. The rhythm track and tabs are also freely available there.

I threw a towel over my ShoBud pedal steel to use as a stand for the "TRAVELER" guitar, which worked nicely. I hope you enjoy it. God bless!
