This was an Air Canada flight AC866 departing from Montreal-Pierre-Elliott Trudeau International to Heathrow airport in London, England. The plane was a Boeing 787-8.
The plane in question was having numerous technical issues and eventually had to be powered cycled down and then rebooted. According to a number of articles, the FAA ordered Boeing operators to periodically switch their 787 aircraft off every 51 days.

After rebooting the aircraft, we had an uneventful trip across the Atlantic.
