On March 2, 2019, the 20th edition of the MonsterTrack Alleycat Race was held, starting in Tompkins Square Park in Manhattan's East Village. The race, which is considered by many to be the most prestigious alleycat race in the world, is specifically for brakeless track bikes.
I started with the lead group, but after the 3rd checkpoint, got dropped and completed the rest of the race by myself.
