Thousands of people gathered in Albany to protest against bomb trains transporting dangerous fracked oil through New York communities, many of which are low-income.
Holding a rally on the tracks, the protesters prevented the trains from carrying the highly flammable crude oil for an entire day.
While dozens were willing to risk arrest, the Albany police didn't interrupt the protest, despite the fact that for much of it the protesters lacked a permit.
