Monster Hunter World's expansion Iceborne receives a beta on PS4, running from June 21st - 23rd for PS Plus members and from June 28th - 30th for all PS4 players.

Hunting a Nargacuga, the rare monster in the beginner master rank, quest solo with a lance.

In order to spawn Nargacuga you have to finish the Jagras quest till the quest description changes to 'reports of a mysterious monster.'

As soon as you have that start the quest from camp 8. Go outside and then to the right and wait for Nargacuga.
