Monster Hunter has a pretty simple gameplay loop: Hunt monster. Take its parts. Make better gear. Hunt bigger monster. But I'm about to break that entire system, Because in this run, I can't use a SINGLE part from a large monster.

Every weapon. Every piece of armor. Every upgrade, even every meal, has to be made using materials I can get by mining, fishing, or from endemic life, and SMALL Monsters.

The core rule is simple: if it comes from a large monster, I can't use it.
⚔️ THE RULES
1. 🚫 No Large Monster Parts — No scales, claws, horns, hides, Medulla, carapace, WHATEVER body part, if it carves from, or breaks off, a large monster we're not using it.
Your entire equipment economy has to come from the environment, small monsters, and endemic life.
2. ⛏️ Gathering Only — Equipment materials can only come from gathering, mining, fishing, small monsters, and endemic life. (ie; No loopholes for hunt reward screen drops). NPC Trading is permitted, so long as both the traded item, and the received item can be confirmed to be in compliance with Rule 1.
3. 🛡️ Armor Spheres Are Allowed — all Legal armor can be upgraded normally
4. 🍖 Any Meal must be free of Red-Meat (as we cannot be sure it didn't come from a large monster) so only fish & vegetable meals are permitted
5. 🪖 Also banned, for the sake of making it even more interesting, all basic complete armour sets, including "Hope" "Chainmail" "Leather" "Alloy" and "Ingot" & "high metal".

You can obtain crafting materials from:
🌿 Gathering points
⛏️ Mining
🦴 Bonepiles
🌱 Plants, mushrooms and other natural resources
🐟 Fish
🐛 Insects
🐰 Small monsters
🦎 Endemic life
🎁 Environmental/resource pickups
🤝 NPCs/trading only when the material you're receiving ultimately comes from an allowed source
Can I actually survive Monster Hunter Wilds when I can't turn the monsters I hunt into better weapons and armor?
